Lauri Tähtinen is Founder and CEO of Americas Outlook.
Based out of Washington, D.C., Lauri is an accomplished interpreter and commentator on global affairs and advisor to multinationals, foundations and investors. In addition to his experience in explaining policy, trends and ruptures to a variety of stakeholders, Lauri has taught and researched in fields as varied as political economy, history and international law at Harvard, Helsinki, Brown and Cambridge, and was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute, Florence.
Having been educated at the London School of Economics and Harvard University, Lauri received his Ph.D. in History from the University of Cambridge. Lauri has lived on four continents and hopes to soon be able to add to the list of over 60 countries that he has visited.
Lauri serves as Non-resident Fellow of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs and is a contributing columnist for the business daily Kauppalehti.
